Are you also someone who likes many things? Do you like drawing, but also water color paint and acrylics? Perhaps you are a true paper lover? Wonderful, the more materials you use, the more your creativity will flow!
Variety is key in finding your magic. Try something new and it will certainly benefit your creativity. Different colors than your usual palette, a thick brush instead of a thin one, working with your canvas upside down or using something ‘odd’ as a tool.
I like variety in everything I do and create. Although I have certainly seen certain themes recurring in my journal over the years, every day is different – every page is different. Magazine cut outs, tags, newspaper, tissue paper, acrylics, ink, water color, crayons, pastel, markers, vegetable juices, stickers, photos, just to name a few. I love to mix!
