Set yourself free

What’s your favorite color? It’s a question we often asked as a kid, because we felt it said something about the other person. We asked for favorite songs, favorite food and hobbies and wrote them in friendship journals. What a great way to get to know each other. Why did we stop asking such relevant questions when we became adults? It’s a kind of a short cut to get to know each other a little better. Asking ourselves the same questions is even more rare. But your preferences, your likes and your favorites tell such a nice part of your story! In Art Journaling, you can answer your own ‘friendship journal questions’, without anyone asking or reading šŸ™‚

The more create, the more you will discover the answers to all kinds of questions. This could mean you discover that pink is actually your favorite color, while your house is decorated in beautiful beige. Art journaling could also lead you to your most important values in life. Or… maybe it could help to remember that one specific recipe that turned out so wonderful.

Art journaling can be done in so many different ways; that’s what makes it so unique. Just start and you will find your way. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes, in your journal there is no right or wrong. The most important thing to do when you start, every time again: take a deep breath and set yourself free.
